Grupa KĘTY S.A. obtained a certificate confirming the low carbon footprint of the produced profiles with a high content of recycled material. The carbon footprint of these profiles is only 3.3 kg CO2e/kg. This value was determined on the basis of the results of the Life Cycle Assessment in the environmental declaration in accordance with the EN 15804 standard. The document was verified by an external expert and has the status of the European declaration “ECO-EPD verified”. In addition, the certificate has been placed on the ITB sustainable construction portal, thanks to which the profiles are recognized in the “green” building certification systems, e.g. BREEAM, LEED and DGNB. This allows them to be used in the implementation of more sustainable architectural aluminium systems.
